Sitting Scooting and Jumping - oh my!

Dylan is sitting up!! A few weekends ago we propped him up and much to our surprise he stayed that way! He is still working on crawling - he can only go backwards right now, but it is so fun to watch him scoot all the way across the living room :)

When our friend's little girl, Aisley, was Dylan's age - we went to dinner with them and they showed us her new trick. She loved to JUMP! If you held her standing in your lap she would constantly bounce. We noticed how bored Dylan has been sitting in his swing or bouncer while we ate dinner or tried to get a few things done around the house. We did a little research and decided to get him a jumper!! We picked the Graco Bumper Jumper and all three of us are so pleased with it!! It comes almost completely pre-assembled and I put it together in about five minutes. It clamps above any door frame with crown molding so you don't have to attach an ugly hook, and you can move it from room to room. Dylan LOVES it. At first we put him in it and he just hung there staring at us. Ryan would go over and bounce him around a few times until finally he really understood what to do. He has been a bouncing little bunny since then. He reminds me of Aisley now - any time he is standing he will bounce his little legs. He has even worn holes in the toes of several of his footie pjs! :)

All this new movement really tuckers the little guy out. His new found freedom has resulted in more naps - we aren't complaining! He is THE most fantastic mini cuddle partner that exists :)
